What is a destoner machine and what does it do?
A destoner machine removes stones, mud balls, metal particles, glass pieces, and other heavy impurities from grains using density-based and airflow separation. It is essential for any grain processing line to protect downstream machinery and improve the purity and quality of the final product. We manufacture destoners suitable for paddy, wheat, dal, groundnut, ragi, maize, and other grains.
What is a gravity separator?
A gravity separator (also called a specific gravity separator) separates grain mixtures based on differences in weight and density using a combination of air velocity and a vibrating deck. It is used to separate heavy impurities, immature grains, and light materials from the main grain lot, significantly improving grade and quality.
What is a decorticator machine?
A decorticator machine removes the outer husk or hull from grains like groundnut, sunflower, safflower, and certain pulses. Our decorticators use adjustable mechanical action to shell grains gently without breaking or damaging the kernel inside, maximising recovery rates.
What capacity options are available for your machines?
Our machines are available in a wide range of capacities — from 0.5 tonne/hour units for small rice mills to 10+ tonne/hour industrial machines. Standard models are available in 1 TPH, 2 TPH, 3 TPH, 5 TPH, and 10 TPH configurations. Custom capacities can be designed on request.
Do you manufacture custom or non-standard machines?
Yes. While we have over 51 standard models, we regularly engineer custom machinery to meet specific client requirements — different capacities, special grain types, unique configurations, or plant-specific integrations. Contact our engineering team with your requirements.
What is the difference between a pre-cleaner and a paddy cleaner?
A pre-cleaner is the first stage of grain cleaning — it removes large impurities like straw, chaff, stones, and coarse dust before the grain enters the main processing line. A paddy cleaner is a more refined cleaning stage specifically designed for paddy/rice, removing finer impurities after initial cleaning, using precision sieves and airflow.
